TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Return)
Trap, Neuter, and Return, or "TNR,"

We live with numerous stray cats, cats that usually live in freedom but integrated into the environment of our cities and feed themselves thanks to what humans provide them. When a group of stray cats live together in a certain place that offers them enough food, they form so-called urban cat colonies.

Control of urban cat colonies.
TNR Project. At present, a need for control of the proliferation of urban cats has been generated. The only most effective and ethical control measure is the so-called TNR project (TRAP, NEUTER and RETURN), which consists of trapping all or the vast majority of the cats in a colony, sterilizing them and returning them to their territory. So that the animals are not trapped again, it is necessary to mark the already sterilized cats so that the transfers to the vet in successive campaigns do not generate unnecessary stress in them. In this way, we can also quickly identify a new or abandoned animal in the colony.

Feeding and caring for colonies.
Our volunteers are in charge of feeding the colonies that are in our charge and also checking that the cats are in good condition of health. If they detect an injured or sick cat, the capture protocol is quickly activated to take them to the vet and attend to their problems. If he needs any long-term care, he is kept in foster care until his full recovery. Once recovered, they are returned to their colony.

We want to help and create a better world

For this we rescue litters of kittens from the street, we deworm them, we welcome, tame and breed them correctly to later seek a responsible adoption.

The adoptions we carry out are through adoption contracts. Young kittens are delivered dewormed and microchipped to their new families. Adult cats are delivered dewormed, neutered and microchipped.

Pre-adopters are interviewed and homes are visited before the cat is delivered

Once an adoption is made, it is followed up after a reasonable time to ensure the welfare of the animal.

The adoptions in Spain are carried out in the Seville region and its surroundings in order to guarantee the follow-up. On the other hand, we have also contacted several foundations in different European countries that help us find adoptive families in their countries in a responsible way. These foundations are in charge of carrying out the control prior to adoption and the subsequent monitoring.

Through this scheme, we expand the range of adoption possibilities for our furry friends, also giving the possibility of adoption to adult cats since in those countries they do not necessarily want to adopt only kittens.

Preparing a kitten for adoption abroad involves arduous preparation both at the level of vaccinations and veterinary treatments as well as at the level of documentation and travel permits.

Another of our tasks is to find the most appropriate and safest method of transport for each case.
